Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Yes, there is a $45 pp charge for each extra guest up to 30 guests maximum.   Though the garden is large enough to hosts larger parties, we have to have a bad weather contingency plan.  The venue is an historic home and the interior rooms are smaller and can only hold comfortably up to 20 guests.

Yes, we allow mimosas, wine or champagne to be served with our shower party packages.  Client must provide their own alcohol.  There is a $50 TABC license charge for this service.

No, your rental time includes set-up and clean-up.  Our team will need to sanitize the rooms and furniture during transition time between events.  The gate will be opened 5 minutes before your allotted event time.

Yes, you can purchase extra time by the hour.   This cost is $95 (excluding tax) per additional hour.

Yes, unless you order the Deluxe or English Tea Party packages.

We provide the following white tables:

  • Up to four: 8 foot tables
  • Up to two: 6 foot tables

We recommend 52 x 120 tablecloths (standard drop), and 90 x 156 tablecloth (full drop).  Both linens or disposables are acceptable.

Yes, only if you purchased the DIY package.  Vendors and food will require approval by VHG team.
Note:  Cooking is not allowed onsite.

We highly recommend you plan for small bites or personalized graze boxes and a dessert table.  All food will require approval by our team.

We highly recommend you provide water, tea and/or lemonade.  Clients are very creative by adding fruits or sparkling beverages for an additional flair.

No, we require a $100 non-refundable security fee.  This fee holds your reservation and then we transfer the funds to cover event insurance costs.

No, pets are generally not allowed on the property.  We do have rare use cases in which we allow one dog.  These cases will need to be reviewed and approved by the Director only.
